I wrote about changing the Genie's design last week. The main reason this design has remained to the present comes down to one thing - see through pants. The problem with having characters nude all the time is that it can make a scene less sexy. Good composition and clever use of environment help overcome this, but giving a character at least something to wear helps keep things visually interesting. Having the genie's ass visible through her pants in panel 4 is sexier to me than if she were just bare assed... Maybe I just like a tease.
