On this look back at my first comic, I have tried to pick out the positive while soaking in the cringey ineptitude of my early work. There is little positive about page 33 - this was a missed opportunity. A good splash page is used to give weight to a moment. This should have been a grand fucking explosion of cum and chaos. I shot blanks instead.
It took me some time to learn the lesson, but making a comic always involves trade-offs. You use the time allotted to do the best you can, then move the fuck on. At this point Live Nude Ghouls was coming out weekly, and it was more important for me to hit my deadline than for it to be well drawn. I should have extended that deadline...
